Bay Windows
A bay window is a set of three windows, which are angled out and away from the house. The centre window is typically a fixed, picture window, that’s larger than both of the windows on either side (named flankers). Bay windows open up your space, add architectural detail and capture more light and beauty than your standard window.

Casement Windows
A casement window is a window that is hinged at the side on two different window panes and will crank out to open. When opened they look like a pair of opened barn doors. In order to be considered a casement window, the window must be hinged at the side of the frame.

Tilt & Turn Windows
The fact that the tilt ‘n’ turn window opens inwards sets it apart from regular, outward-opening casement windows, and makes it ideal for customers for whom an open-out window is simply not suitable because of space restrictions. The tilt ‘n’ turn window is the perfectly versatile year-round product, offering plenty of light and fresh air during the summer months, and providing superb insulation or gentle ventilation in the winter

In the early days of PVC-U windows, the only option was white. Now with the Swish Impressions range, there’s a whole palette of colours.
You can choose from beautiful wood effects, strong primaries, or smart greys.
Every finish is achieved by permanently bonding foils to the PVC-U. They won’t fade, peel or split and will never need painting to maintain their looks.
You can also have different colours indoors to outdoors, or even two different woodgrain effects.

Double Glazing
The savings made on energy costs as a consequence of fitting double glazed windows will help you recoup their investment – they really do pay for themselves. You will also notice a positive difference in terms of sound insulation as any noise created by passing traffic or pedestrians will be less audible indoors. It’s worth mentioning too that you will be doing your bit for the environment by installing double glazing as it will lower your home’s carbon footprint. The inclusion of two glazed panes within one window design also makes it more difficult for thieves to force their way into your private space. No home should be without it.

- Check which options of windows and doors are available to you
- Ask for colour samples that you can choose from
- Find out which styles are sympathetic to your property
- Consider how many windows will open in each room for ventilation
- If you want leadwork, bars or decorative glass in any of your windows, check what options are available to you
- Choose the style and finish of your handles
- Find out what locking system and security features are on offer
- Consider emergency escape for windows. Does your window open 90 degrees?
- Ask whether your frames will be reinforced
- Have you considered night vents or trickle vents? Your installer can explain the benefits of these
